Just a quick note: I've implemented the HTTP 304 Not Modified response for 
the blog, so keeping up to date with your friendly neighbourhood Irate 
Scotsman should be easier on your bandwidth and mine. And if you have no 
idea what 304 Not Modified means, don't worry about it.

his excellent 304 code snippet upon which my code is based. This 304 code should be 
a bit more reliable than the legacy code in Thistle (which I didn't have enabled 
before anyway).



Oh, and to paraphrase Sideshow Bob, I'm aware of the irony of making a new 
post in order to mention a Not Modified implementation, so don't bother 
pointing that out. ;)
